Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify new business opportunities in sewage treatment, wastewater recycling, water treatment, and environmental infrastructure projects.
- Generate leads through consultants, builders, architects, contractors, industries, government projects, and channel partners.
- Develop strong market presence in target industries such as:
- Real Estate & Residential Projects
- Commercial Buildings
- Hospitals & Healthcare Facilities
- Hotels & Resorts
- Manufacturing Industries
- Educational Institutions
- Municipal & Government Projects
2. Client Meetings & Requirement Analysis
- Meet prospective clients to understand their wastewater treatment requirements.
- Conduct site visits and gather project-related technical data.
- Understand client parameters such as:
- Sewage generation capacity (KLD/MLD)
- Water reuse requirements
- Available installation space
- Pollution control norms
- Budget and project timelines
- Analyze technical specifications and recommend suitable treatment technologies.
3. Technical Solution Selling
- Recommend suitable systems such as:
- Packaged STP
- MBBR Systems
- SBR Systems
- ETP Systems
- Grey Water Recycling Systems
- UF/RO-based reuse systems
- Explain technical advantages, operating costs, ROI, and compliance benefits to clients.
- Present customized wastewater treatment solutions based on project needs.
4. Proposal & Quotation Preparation
- Coordinate with the Proposal/Design team to prepare:
- Technical proposals
- Cost estimations
- Commercial quotations
- Scope of supply documents
- Technical datasheets
- Ensure proposals meet customer specifications and project requirements.
5. Consultant & Contractor Coordination
- Build relationships with consultants, PMC teams, architects, EPC contractors, and project managers.
- Attend technical discussions, tender meetings, and project presentations.
- Ensure product approvals from consultants and project authorities.
6. Tender & Project Follow-Up
- Track enquiries, tenders, and project opportunities.
- Follow up with customers regularly for proposal updates.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contract conditions.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed purchase orders.
7. Order Closure & Handover
- Finalize commercial negotiations.
- Receive purchase orders and contract documents.
- Coordinate with project execution teams for smooth project handover.
- Ensure all technical and commercial documents are properly transferred.
8. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain long-term relationships with customers.
- Handle customer queries and provide technical clarifications.
- Identify repeat business and cross-selling opportunities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
9. Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitors, pricing trends, and market opportunities.
- Track new environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
- Provide market feedback to management for business growth.
Required Skills
- Strong technical understanding of STP, ETP, WTP, and wastewater treatment processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- CRM and sales reporting knowledge.
Educational Qualification
- B.Tech / BE in Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering
OR - Diploma with relevant industry experience
Preferred Experience
- Freshers with strong communication skills can apply
- 1–8 years experience in:
